Saturn® employs computerized work stations utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) throughout the manufacturing process. Saturn's fully equipped testing laboratory, which includes fatigue and stress durability testing equipment, is NADCAP accredited for Material Testing and ISO/IEC 17025.
Our inspectors are certified by Saturn® to ensure their accuracy and to keep them current on latest revisions to the inspection process.
Continuous improvement is the key to maintaining an up to date quality assurance system. Quality assurance doesn't start with the manufacturing process. It starts when the quote is received and continues even after the item is shipped.
Under the direction of Nicholas Karabetsos , Director of Quality/Manufacturing Engineer, Saturn® maintains a quality system that is ISO9001:2000 & AS9100 REV. B registared.
Saturn's engineering department is also under the direction of Nicholas C. Karabetsos who received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Sacramento and has over 20 years in the fastener industry.
